We're Harvey and Isaac. We founded Arcscribe on one principle: build software that actually solves business problems, write every line ourselves, and hand over the full codebase at launch. No account managers. No outsourcing. No exception.
How it started
Harvey Washington and Isaac Marshall met at City College Norwich on a T-Level Digital Software Design course. While other students treated it as a tick-box exercise, they were in the lab building real products.
Six months in, they had outgrown what the course could teach them. Harvey was building full-stack web applications. Isaac was converting clients. They dropped out at 16 and 18 and registered Arcscribe.
Self-employment was never foreign to either of them. Harvey's father is an electrical engineer running his own business. Isaac's father is a barber with his own shop. Building something of your own was the obvious path, not the risky one.
They saw the gap clearly: clients paying premium fees to agencies for mediocre work, because they didn't know what “good” looked like. Arcscribe was built to be the answer to that.
From websites to operating platforms
Arcscribe started with web design for local businesses. Fast turnarounds, clean code, referrals driven entirely by quality. Word spread fast.
As the business grew, so did the complexity of what clients needed. Booking systems. Inventory tools. Internal dashboards. CRM replacements. Clients weren't asking for websites anymore, they were asking for software that made their operations run better.
Today, Arcscribe operates as a bespoke software engineering studio from Norwich Digital Hub (30 Crown Road, NR1 3DT). Harvey and Isaac personally architect and build every project. We serve clients nationally, from growing SMEs to mid-market businesses across all sectors.

Harvey leads all technical architecture, database design, frontend, and backend development at Arcscribe. He built his first production web application at 15. His stack is React, Next.js, TypeScript, Node.js, and PostgreSQL. His obsession is writing clean, maintainable code that can be handed to any developer and understood immediately.
He is the person who will design your system, write your API, and deploy your infrastructure. You will have direct access to him throughout the project.
Isaac Marshall
Commercial Director
Isaac leads all commercial operations, client engagement, and project delivery at Arcscribe. He bridges the gap between business requirements and technical execution , translating what your operations team needs into precise requirements that Harvey can build.
He makes sure every project stays on scope, communication stays direct, and you receive what you actually need, not just what was easiest to build.

We operate from Norwich Digital Hub, a central Norwich workspace for technology companies, and deliver projects for clients across the UK. Our location gives us the focus of a lean studio without limiting who we can serve.
