Official rules for the Arcscribe Christmas Website Giveaway 2025

1. Eligibility

1.1. The Arcscribe Christmas Website Giveaway (the "Giveaway") is open to businesses based in Norfolk, Suffolk, or the wider East Anglia region.

1.2. Entrants must be 18 years of age or older and authorized to represent the business they are entering on behalf of.

1.3. Employees, contractors, and immediate family members of Arcscribe are not eligible to enter.

1.4. Only one entry per business is permitted. Duplicate entries will be disqualified.

2. Entry Period

2.1. The Giveaway entry period begins on November 16, 2025 and ends on December 23, 2025 at 11:59 PM GMT.

2.2. Entries received after the closing date and time will not be considered.

3. How to Enter

3.1. To enter the Giveaway, complete the online entry form at arcscribe.co.uk/christmas with the following information:

• Full name of the representative
• Business name
• Email address
• A written explanation of why your business needs a new website

3.2. By submitting an entry, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and that you have the authority to enter on behalf of the business.

4. Prize

4.2. The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other alternative.

4.3. Arcscribe reserves the right to substitute the prize with an alternative of equal or greater value if necessary.

5. Winner Selection

5.1. The winner will be selected by the Arcscribe team based on the following criteria:

• The quality and sincerity of the written explanation
• The potential impact a new website would have on the business
• Alignment with Arcscribe's mission to support local businesses

5.2. The decision of Arcscribe is final, and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the selection process.

5.3. The winner will be announced on Christmas Eve, December 24, 2025 via email and on Arcscribe's website and social media channels.

6. Winner Notification

6.1. The winner will be notified via the email address provided in their entry within 48 hours of the announcement.

6.2. The winner must respond to the notification email within 7 days to claim the prize. Failure to respond within this timeframe may result in forfeiture of the prize, and an alternative winner may be selected.

6.3. Arcscribe will work with the winner to schedule the website design and development project, which must be completed within 6 months of the announcement date.

7. Data Protection & Privacy

7.1. All personal information submitted as part of the entry will be handled in accordance with Arcscribe's Privacy Policy and UK data protection laws (GDPR).

7.2. By entering the Giveaway, entrants consent to their business name and a brief description of their entry being shared publicly if they are selected as the winner.

7.3. Entrants may request deletion of their data at any time by contacting [email protected].

8. Publicity

8.1. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to participate in reasonable publicity activities related to the Giveaway, including but not limited to:

• Being featured in a case study on the Arcscribe website
• Having their business name and story shared on Arcscribe's social media channels
• Providing a testimonial about their experience working with Arcscribe

8.2. No additional compensation will be provided for such publicity activities.

9. Limitations & Exclusions

9.1. The prize package includes a standard 5-page website. Additional pages, advanced features (e.g., e-commerce, custom integrations), or services beyond the scope of the standard package may be available at an additional cost.

9.2. The winner is responsible for providing all content (text, images, logos, etc.) required for the website in a timely manner. Arcscribe is not responsible for delays caused by the winner's failure to provide necessary materials.

9.3. After the initial one-year hosting period, the winner will be responsible for ongoing hosting and maintenance fees at Arcscribe's standard rates.

9.4. Arcscribe reserves the right to disqualify any entry that is deemed inappropriate, fraudulent, or in violation of these Terms & Conditions.

10. Liability

10.1. Arcscribe accepts no liability for:

• Late, lost, incomplete, or misdirected entries
• Technical failures or malfunctions that may affect entry submission
• Any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in the Giveaway or acceptance of the prize

10.2. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions shall exclude Arcscribe's liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

11. General

11.1. Arcscribe reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaway at any time if circumstances beyond its control make it necessary to do so.

11.2. These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from the Giveaway shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11.3. If any provision of these Terms & Conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
