App DevelopmentFrom £499

A branded app, not just another website

Customer-facing apps for the App Store and Google Play, and internal tools for your team, built from £499 for a focused single-purpose app, or scoped as a larger platform if you need one.

What we build

Two kinds of app, built the same careful way

Whether it's customer-facing or just for your team, every app is built to your brand, your workflow, and handed over with full ownership.

Customer-facing apps

A branded app your customers download and keep on their home screen, on the App Store and Google Play, or as an installable web app if a store listing isn't needed.

  • Booking, ordering, or loyalty features
  • Push notifications for offers and updates
  • Your branding, colours, and logo throughout
  • App Store and Google Play submission handled for you

Internal & team tools

A private tool just for your staff, job sheets, stock checks, site inspections, scheduling, deployed straight to your team's devices without needing public store review.

  • Deployed privately to your team only
  • Works offline and syncs when back online
  • Replaces paper forms, spreadsheets, or WhatsApp chats
  • Grows into a full internal platform if you need it to

Why an app

What an app gives you that a website doesn't

Not every business needs one. These are the reasons it's worth it when you do.

A home-screen presence

An icon on your customer's phone beats a bookmarked link. It's the difference between being remembered and being searched for again.

Push notifications

Reach customers directly, offers, reminders, updates, without relying on email opens or social media reach.

Works with patchy signal

Internal tools that keep working on-site or on the road, and sync automatically the moment there's a connection again.

Real-time data

Live stock levels, job status, or booking availability, always current across every device your team uses.

Private by default

Internal tools sit outside public app stores entirely, so only the people you choose can ever install them.

Built to grow

Start with one focused feature from £499, and extend it as your business needs more, no rebuild required.

Pricing

From £499 for a focused app

Simple, single-purpose apps are fixed-price. Larger platforms with accounts, payments, or custom backends are scoped after a short call.

From£499

A focused app

One clear purpose, built for iOS and Android, branded to you, and submitted to the relevant app store(s) or shipped as an installable web app.

Customquote

A larger platform

Logins, bookings, payments, or an admin dashboard behind it. Scoped like our custom software projects, with the same direct-to-developer approach.

How we build it

Four stages. No surprises.

01

Scope the one job it needs to do

We agree the core purpose, who it's for (customers or your team), and which platforms it needs to run on.

02

Design to your brand

Screens designed around your colours, logo, and content, reviewed and approved before any build work starts.

03

Build & test on real devices

Built and tested on real iOS and Android hardware, not just simulators, so it works properly from day one.

04

Store submission & handover

We handle App Store and Google Play submission (or web-app deployment), then hand over full access and ownership.

Questions

Common questions about app development

How much does a business app cost?

A focused, single-purpose app starts from £499. That covers a branded app with core functionality, one platform (iOS or Android, or both as a cross-platform build), and store submission. More complex apps with logins, bookings, payments, or admin dashboards are scoped individually.

Do I need a native app or would a website do?

If customers only need to look something up occasionally, a fast website is usually the better investment. An app makes sense when you want a home-screen presence, push notifications, offline access, or a repeat-use tool your customers or staff open regularly.

Will it be on the App Store and Google Play?

Yes, we handle store listings, screenshots, and submission for both Apple's App Store and Google Play as part of the build. Some simpler apps are better suited to a Progressive Web App (installable from the browser, no store review needed), which we'll recommend where it saves you time and cost.

Can you build an internal tool just for our team, not the public?

Yes. Internal apps, job sheets, stock checks, staff scheduling, site inspections, don't need to go through app store review at all. We can build and deploy these privately, directly to your team's devices.

Do we own the app afterwards?

Yes, outright. You get the full codebase, the App Store Connect / Google Play Console access under your own developer accounts, and no ongoing licence fee to us. You can take it to another developer at any time.

How long does an app take to build?

A focused single-purpose app typically takes 3-6 weeks from kickoff to store submission. Larger apps with accounts, payments, or bespoke backends are scoped after a short discovery call.
